Our in house stylist Katie packed up her two kids, hubby and the secret baby in her belly and headed to Byron for the week. We were totally jelly at HQ so it was mandatory to get the low down from her on what to do and the best places to eat, shop and sleep!
Where to Chill and Lay Your Head:
Now, depending on your reasons for visiting, there’s an abundance of accommodation options, ranging from ‘OMG we must be famous to be staying here’ to ‘yes, this is perfect for the kids to wear themselves out so Mummy and Daddy stay at least a little bit sane’. Here’s a round up of our fave digs:

If you can’t afford to stay at Raes on Wategos, here your next best option! A cute little bay with stunning views and vibe, Wategos is a sheltered beach great for families, picnics and playing in the sand.
The Farm is a rustic working farm and eatery, making it the perfect spot for brekkie or lunch. The kids will have a blast too, with plenty of space to run around and burn off all that energy.

A picturesque small town located 20 minutes from Byron, Bangalow has it all with beautiful boutiques, farmers markets and a chic vibe to boot.

There’s nothing cuter (in my opinion anyway!) than watching dolphin’s play in the sea and the Lighthouse Walk gives you the perfect vista’s to do just that.
Where to Blow Your Cash:
Ok, now that we’ve let you in on some places to visit, we can now get to the really good stuff…shopping! And Byron bay does.not.let.down. It’s hard to believe Katie has two small children the way the girl can get around the shops, but we’re not complaining! Here’s the low down on where to blow your cash:

Ummmmmmmmmm, this place is pretty impressive. Full of all things fashion, interiors, books and toys, these guys have got you sorted.
A fave here at HQ, Yoli and Otis is full of gorgeous womenswear and childrenswear, sure to set your bohemian heart on fire.
We’re all for Aussie designers and Mister Zimi knows how to keep you looking tropical chic.
Everyone in the office pretty much has a pair of these shoes, they are THAT good! Throw in some clothing, bags and accessories and you’re pretty much sorted!

Last but not least, what’s a trip to Byron without a visit to Pop and Scott and Pampa. These two powerhouses have joined forces under one roof to make all of your tonal dreams come true!

After all that shopping it’s time to eat and when you’re growing a little human, your sixth sense leads you only to the best.
A cute little eatery with excellent coffee, friendly vibes and great tunes.
In the mood for a great smoothie? Combi have you covered with an organic menu, house made nut milks and raw cakes and fair trade coffee.
If you’ve got a hankering for something a little more on the naughty side, The Top Shop is an American style diner with burgers, milkshakes, and a basket full of sidewalk chalk, just waiting for your little Picasso’s to create their masterpieces on the driveway.
Well if that hasn’t got you Googling flights to Byron Bay for your summer hols, then I don’t know what will. I just have one question for you though…can I come?
