    Our beautiful cushions showcase a wide range of stunning techniques including embroidery, tufting, chain-stitching, punch-needling and many more!
     
    Due to this range of techniques, we do always suggest referring to each cushion’s care label before proceeding with any cleaning. These can be found inside the cover, by unzipping and peeking inside! For our favourite pre-filled cushions (eg. the iconic Rylie Round Cushions) you will find the care label alongside the SxC label on the seam.

    Cushion Insert Information

    Every Sage x Clare cushion deserves maximum cuddle factor. So, our premium, ethically sourced feather cushion inserts and “down-like” vegan cushion inserts are responsibly sourced.

    • Our feather inserts are an ethically sourced by-product with stringent animal welfare and sustainability standards
    • Our vegan inserts feature a premium 'down-like' filler and are both hypoallergenic and odourless
    • Both types of inserts have a cotton casing
    • Made in Australia and China

    Air well before use. Keep away from heat and humidity. Dry clean only.

    Shipping + Returns
    Australian (domestic) shipping:
    • We offer free standard shipping for orders over $150 AUD.
    • $10 standard flat rate shipping for orders under $150 AUD.
    • $15 express shipping.
    International shipping:
    • New Zealand: we offer free DHL shipping for orders over $250 NZD.
    • New Zealand: shipping with DHL is $25 for orders under $250 NZD.
    • North America: shipping with DHL is $39 for all orders.
    • Europe + United Kingdom:  shipping with DHL is $49 for all orders.
    • Rest of world: shipping with DHL is $59 for all orders.

    Dispatch times for standard delivery are usually 2-5 business days from order placement and 1-2 business days for express delivery. 

    Please note: import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. 


    Returns:
    • Full priced items are eligible for Australian (domestic) returns within 15 days of the shipping date from our warehouse. For international orders, returns are accepted within 30 days of the shipping date from our warehouse.
    • Once you submit your return, please ensure you post within 14 days or your return request will expire. 
    • For Australian (domestic) returns, full priced items are eligible for exchange, gift card or refund (refunds are processed minus shipping cost).
    • For international returns, full priced items are eligible for gift card or refund. Exchange is not available for international returns.
    • For international returns, please choose carefully as you will need to cover the cost of return shipping regardless of whether you are seeking a refund or store credit.

    Beautiful but they smell awful

    I love Sage and Clare and have lots of their other cushions, and haven’t had this problem before, so please don’t take this as a reflection on their other cushion products: These cushions look gorgeous, but they smell hideous — my partner says they smell literally poo-like. Perhaps the feathers in the inserts weren’t properly cleaned or treated? Goose and duck feather cushions can sometimes smell a bit gamey when they’re new but this is a whole other level. Not quite sure what to do! Airing them out for the time being.
